With a professional background as a chef and the founder of Byron Fermentary, I bring over 14 years of experience in creating gut-nourishing ferments using a closed-loop, zero food waste system.

Having started my first career in marketing, I never imagined that I would one day cherish and build upon my family heritage. The cherished memories of spending time in Russia with my grandparents, whether in the garden or foraging, continue to inspire me. However, my creations and knowledge extend far beyond traditional recipes. As an innovator, I create products that never existed before, utilizing fermentation methods and what is often considered waste. And I'm here to teach you how to do the same.

Nestled at The Farm in Byron Bay, Australia, Byron Fermentary is where I grow or source local, seasonal ingredients to craft a variety of fermented products. Each ingredient is transformed multiple times, ensuring nothing goes to waste and creating a sustainable, closed-loop process. My journey into teaching began five years ago with face-to-face classes, and now, I am thrilled to extend my knowledge to a global audience through All Things Cultured.
